American Idol 2010 12 Contestant Performance Recap
March 17th, 2010
American Idol 2010 12 Contestant Performance Recap. Season 9 of American Idol is hot, and we are down to the top 12 contestants. Six men and six young women performed this week, and some of those performers will go home. Tonight all of the top 12 performers showed us what they got, and we are ready to discuss the rundown.
Here is a brief rundown of the performers you can expect to see:
Crystal Bowersox: She’s sang “You Can’t Always Get What You Want” and her version was seen as spot on by many. She’s always delivered solid performances – anything less would be a shocker.
Michael Lynch: While “Miss You” remake wasn’t as knock-your-socks off as last week’s “This Woman’s work” he still used the stage and danced well and had a strong vocal performance.
Tim Urban: Will this be the week that Tim Urban (finally) gets voted off Idol? There were a few raised eyebrows with his reggae version of “Under my Thumb”
Didi Benami: “Play with Fire” was sang by this Idol hopeful, and she looked sexy in her lacy top. It was her strongest performance yet!
Katie Stevens: She ran into some pitch problems during “Wild Horses” but she worked it out and she still did better than some of the other performers, so we are keeping our fingers crossed for her.
Andrew Garcia: “Gimme Shelter” was a song that only Ellen seemed to like. It will be interesting to see if he makes it into the next round.
Siobhan Mangus: She sang “Paint it Black” and had the crowd going wild. Definitely one of the night’s stronger performances.
Lacey Brown: Lacey has a great voice, but some don’t think she’s all that entertaining. Maybe she will loosen up this week and show us a great time!
Casey James: He sang “It’s All Over Now” and used his electric guitar and mixed with a pinch of country…what a fabulous tune!
Lee Dewyze: He sang “Beast of Burden” and Randy said that it was a cross between Dave Matthews and Rob Thomas – definitely a good thing.
Aaron Kelly: After being saved last week, Kelly sang “Angie” and hit all his vocals. The tweens seem to love him, so maybe he will be safe again this week.
Paige Miles: She brought out her vocal cords and showed everyone that she can sing. Her performance was stronger than the other performances she has given.
Season 9 of American Idol 2010 is a great competition. There’s a lot of fun and great performances and we can’t wait to see who becomes America’s next Idol.
