Sarah Palin once again voiced criticism of the left, this time during her show, “Sarah Palin’s Alaska.”  This isn’t really all that surprising.  The event unfolded during an episode where Sarah and her family were camping, along with the Gosselin children and Kate Gosselin (who wussied out on the whole expedition, leaving after Kate complained for hours about the cold).

Palin has been against the First Lady’s “Let’s Move” campaign against childhood obesity.  The far right looks at Obama’s efforts to force schools to offer healthier choices for children as another way for the government to control our lives.  Palin claims that Americans shouldn’t be told by their government what they can and cannot eat.

I agree. I mean, I have a mirror.  I’m a little overweight and I accept responsibility for that. However, I don’t think it’s the government’s business what I eat.  Yes, the government should ensure that food manufacturers are making SAFE foods, and that American people are given the tools they need to make choices. Awareness, not regulations, is the means to a healthier US.

Sarah Palin isn’t by any means a sloth.  It’s evident that she makes healthy choices.  Living in Alaska will keep you physically active.  Her children are healthy, too.
