Is there anyone normal left in the world? Latisha Lawson of Indiana is charged with murder after forcing her 3 year old son Jeziah to drink a mixture of oil and vinegar during a home made exorcism.  The mother also did the same thing to her 10 year old daughter, but the daughter vomited and survived the ordeal.

The 3 year old’s mouth was held shut for 10 minutes. By the time the exorcism was over, he was dead.

Oh – and did I mention that this happened in November of 2009? Yes, that’s right. The three year old was killed over a year ago, and she wrapped his lifeless body in a blanket and put it in her closet.

Many religious experts are confused, as there is no known religion or religious writings which say to use the ingredients she used in order to perform an exorcism.

Worse yet, I personally fear that some slick defense attorney will be able to get her off with perhaps a stint in a mental institution over the whole ordeal.  After all, if trying to get the demon out of your three year old by drinking oil and vinegar – killing them in the process – won’t land you in the mental institution, then well I don’t know what will.

Some people just shouldn’t be parents.
