Obama: ‘I Don’t Think About Sarah Palin’

November 25th, 2010

President Obama claims that he doesn’t think about Sarah Palin, in an interview with Barbara Walters.  To some, that might sound sort of paradoxical.  After all, Sarah Palin is discussed as a frontrunner for the GOP 2012 presidential bid. If Obama is the democratic candidate – and there’s pretty much every indication that he will be, although it’s uncertain if he will face opposition in the primaries (which would be the ultimate sign of his demise)

Barbara Walters tried to get a rise out of Obama by discussing Sarah Palin and 2012.  Of course, Walters didn’t get the best of the President.  Although Walters and a bunch of Palin supporters would have loved to see Obama say that he was ‘scared’ of a threat of facing her during the elections – he one-upped them.

‘I don’t think about Sarah Palin.’

Oh really.  If Obama ‘doesn’t think about’ Sarah Palin, then he’s not taking the re-election seriously.  In many circles, she’s one of the front runners for the primaries although it’s uncertain if she’d actually make it to the general election.

Below you can see the interview from ABC News where Obama told Barbara Walters he ‘doesn’t think’ about Sarah Palin.
