iOS 4.2 iPad Update Release Date.  The iOS 4.2 iPad update release date is anticipated.  The iOS 4.2 update is going to bring more stability to the Apple operating system used in the iPhone and the iPad.  That being said, it was anticipated that a recent announcement on behalf of Apple would be that they were launching the iOS 4.2 update.

That’s not the case. Instead, the iOS 4.2 update release date is pushed back.

That’s disappointing. Why? Well, the iOS 4.2 update has a lot of great features, such as allowing your iPad or iPHone to communicate wirelessly with your Apple TV product to stream movies from your iTunes library on your mobile device to your TV. In addition, iPads will be able to have folders for apps and will be able to multitask.

There are also security upgrades that will make the iOS 4.2 better for enterprise use – making the iPad tablet more competitive with items such as the BlackBerry Playbook.

The release of the new iOS update was supposed to be on November 14, but that was pushed back amid problems with the iPad wifi connection.
