Natalee Holloway Found, Jawbone From Holloway’s Body? AOL is reporting that a jawbone found could be from Natalee Holloway’s body.  The Natalee Holloway case has taunted the world for the past five years, and this summer Natalee Holloway’s whereabouts was in the forefront of the news when Joran Van Der Sloot, a Dutch native and person of interest in her disappearance, was accused of killing a Peruvian woman five years to the day when Natalee Holloway went missing.

There have been several “false alarms” in the case, including false confessions on behalf of Van Der Sloot.

It’s entirely possible that this jawbone found could belong to some sort of animal. If it does turn out to be a human bone, it will have to undergo further DNA testing, and depending on the condition of the bone that may or may not be possible.

There are many people who care about Natalee Holloway, and a world of people who would like to see the situation following her disappearance explained.

What are your thoughts? Do you think that the reports of a bone found are indications that the body of Natalee Holloway has been found?

Good Grief AOL – you couldn’t be more irresponsible in your reporting if you tried. You that desperate for attention that you would publish something so hurtful without proof? No wonder I stopped using AOL.

  5. ME says:

Seriously, AOL? You are going to further exploit this poor family to gain attention to your story? I think AOL should be ashamed that they are linking the two until there is solid proof. Why give the family hope of something that may not be? I hope it is her so the family will have some sort of closure but I am ashamed that AOL would jump on this the way they did.

AOL is reporting that it COULD be from Natalie H’s body. Well of course it COULD be. It could be from Natalie, it could be from someone else. It could be. Goes without AOL sensationalizing it this way. When you have a headline, saying it IS from her, fine.

Hope the DNA does match with Natalee’s but I’m skeptical- too many false alarms. It wouldn’t directly link her disappearing to Van der Sloot or anyone else in any case.
