Manny Pacquiao and Antonio Margarito took to the ring in what is a huge epic battle this weekend.  The fight went to regulation time, but early on Manny Pacquiao dominated and really the fight should have been called after the 9th round.  However, the fight went on and in the end Antonio Margarito suffered face injuries so severe, he has to have surgery.

Manny Pacquiao won via unanimous decision, and quite honestly not many people are shocked. Margarito hung in there and should be commended for continuing to fight even though he was in unbearable pain.

Absent from the post-fight press conference was Antonio Margarito.  He was urged by officials to go to the hospital to be checked out, and there it was discovered that he has a broken orbital bone, which requires surgery to fix.

Some say that this is the end for Margarito, who was boxing in his first match in the US after coming off a 1 year suspension.
