Report: Jean Claude Van Damme Has Minor Heart Attack On Set

October 19th, 2010

Jean-Claude Van Damme has a minor heart attack on set.  That’s right, he just turned 50 years old and suffered from a heart attack.  It’s minor, and he’s expected to make a full recovery.  The minor heart attack happened on the set of “Weapon” and has stalled production.  The incident happened the day after he turned 50.

Someone close to the actor tried to downplay reports, saying that production isn’t really halted – they’re just working around Van Damme’s close-ups.  In addition, he felt tightness in his chest and took himself to the hospital, so it’s not like there was a dramatic collapse and medic call.

Muscles from Brussels, as we said before, is expected to make a full recovery. We are looking forward to watching the new show “Weapon” when it hits theaters.  Van Damme is a world renowned martial artist who is very healthy.
