Alice in Wonderland Movie Reviews 2010 and Actual Movie-Goer Review.  Tim Burton’s version of “Alice in Wonderland” is a box office hit.  There are many reviews that are both positive and negative and a big buzz surrounding the movie featuring Johnny Depp.

The 3D creation is spectacular seen in the IMAX theater, as was seen today.  It’s dark and mysterious, sort of like the original books intended to be.  It’s not the sugar-coated fairy tale that existed in the Disney cartoon from years ago.  Despite being dark, it’s still a good movie for the kids.

Special effects were fantastic, and there was definitely a look that screamed “Tim Burton did this!”, which is a great thing.  His creation “Nightmare before Christmas” has long time been a hit.  He and Depp also previously paired up for “Edward Scissorhands”, a movie that has been a great success.

Of course, there are movie critics that don’t like the film.  You can read the positive and negative reviews from critics here, and there are also multiple viewer comments that are reviews of the film as well.

Going to see “Alice in Wonderland” is a decision to be made by each and every individual.  Not going simply because of a bad review could mean that you are missing out on something spectacular.

If you loved “Alice in Wonderland”, if you love Tim Burton, or if you have children that are over 5 – Alice in Wonderland 2010 is a great option at the box office.

  1. Altough I was kind of let down after people talked it up too much, I still thought it was a pretty good watch. My sister loved it though. To each their own.
