Verizon iPhone 4g at Christmas? Apple iPhone CDMA Rumors Abound.  The Verizon iphone is something many people want, but currently there’s no word on when it will be released.  There was an article recently released in TheStreet.com which indicated that the Verizon iPhone could be out by Christmas.

The article cited that Apple had been in touch with one of their manufacturers over a CDMA handset that would be needed in full scale production by November.  Perhaps Apple will have the Verizon iPhone out by the busy holiday season, making it one of the hot tech gifts on the market for the 2010 holiday season.

The iPhone 4g is expected to be released next week during the WWDC in California.  Some are hoping that at that time, at least an announcement about the Verizon iPhone would be made at the same time.

Some people even speculate that a CDMA handset could be made that could be used on other networks other than Verizon.  Some are wondering if the iPhone will even be released on Sprint.  Sprint already has a 4g network and will release the first 4g phone on the market this Friday.

Many don’t like that the iPhone is only available on one network.  The exclusivity deal with AT&T is rumored to expire in 2012, so the reports from TheStreet.com may not reveal Apple’s immediate plans.  Nothing from the Cupertino, California based company exists until Steve Jobs himself says so.
