American Idol 2010 Top 3 – “Big Mike” Michael Lynche Eliminated. American Idol 2010 Top 3 – “Big Mike” Michael Lynche Eliminated.  This past week on American Idol we got to see quite a show.  The performances were great, and Jaime Foxx made an excellent celebrity mentor for the group. There were four contestants left – Crystal Bowersox, Lee DeWyze, Casey James, and “Big Mike” – all of them are very talented young Idol hopefuls.

So who has what it takes to make it in the ranks of Carrie Underwood, Adam Lambert (runner-up), Kelly Clarkson, and Daughtery? One contestant had to go home on Wednesday, and sadly it was one contestant that many people love.

Big Mike was eliminated…again…from American Idol.  We say “again” because he was previously saved by the judges after receiving the least amount of views.

Now the top three include Crystal Bowersox, Lee DeWyze, and Casey James.  While we originally thought that the final episode would be Bowersox vs Big Mike – it’s not going to be that way.  Who will go home next? Crystal, the contestant who almost had to quit early on because of a health problem and who is rumored to have almost left the show because she was “homesick” or Casey James, the guy who botched Sinatra night but still hung in there? Or will it be Lee? the seemingly behind the scenes contestant who doesn’t have a blemish on his record?

We will see starting Tuesday Night at 8/7c and then again on Wednesday Night at 9/8c.
