Killer Whale Attack Footage Sea World Available? (VIDEO)
February 28th, 2010
Killer whale attack footage Sea World available? Sea World trainer Dawn Brancheau lost her life when a killer whale named Tilly attacked her on Wednesday. At this time, it’s unsure if her death was the result of a freak accident or aggression on the part of the whale. Viewing footage of the whale attack would answer these questions and allow people to understand the tragedy better.
But does the killer whale attack footage exist? If it does, the media or Sea World has done a really good job at keeping it from surfacing. You would think that there would be some tourist home videos showcasing the events – but so far there has been nothing.
That’s not to say there isn’t some form of home made videos out there showing Tilly and Dawn. We’ve seen some where the trainer was simply feeding the large creature – but none show her in her last moments of life.
So what exactly happened on Wednesday? After Tilly’s show, the trainer was feeding him and petting him for doing a good job. She had a long ponytail, and for some reason or another – either she slipped or was grabbed by the bull orca – the whale got a hold of her.
Dawn Brancheau’s preliminary autopsy report indicates a cause of death from multiple traumatic injuries. Her co-workers tried to free her from the whale’s grasp, but were too late. He had to be lured into a separate pool and hoisted before she could be removed from his grips.
