Diaper Recall 2010 and Pamper Recall 2010 Adds Another Element to P&G

Diaper Recall 2010 and Pamper Recall 2010 Adds Another Element to P&G.  Today, a potential diaper recall has made the news.  Currently, Procter & Gamble is NOT under a recall of their popular Swaddlers and Cruisers diapers.  The US Consumer Products Safety Commission is looking into claims that the diapers are causing chemical burns and diaper rash on babies across America.

P&G says it’s not the case – their newly formulated diapers are just as safe as their predecessors.  However, consumers want the OLD products back, as they were comfy and didn’t cause their babies discomfort.

Many parents have turned to FaceBook to a fan page demanding the old products back.  This should show the company what their customer wants – and it shouldn’t be that hard to deliver them what they want.

In addition to the diaper debacle, Procter & Gamble also had to deal with a trading error where a fat-fingered trader accidentally sold 10 billion instead of 10 million shares of their stock, sending the entire market into a tailspin at the same time Greece’s economy is collapsing.

If there is a Pampers recall, we think that in the short term, the stock prices will decline, but that the company will recover.  Consumers loved the old product and if they deliver what the consumer wants they will be better off.

At this time there is NO PAMPERS RECALL. P&G denies there is anything wrong with their product.

MY daughter is 16 months old and has the worst diaper rash ever she even has two bleeding sores I guess those are the chemical burns every one is talking about.

I have a 1 yrs old old girl with a horrible rash and that is scabbing. I have done what parents do to prevent and eliminate a normal rash but has not gone away. Concerned I took her to the doctor today and learned from the doctor that it could have been caused by the Pampers diapers cruisers. I was not aware of all the complaints and children that have been affected by this until my own child experienced it. I called the Pampers company and they deny any resposibility. In conclusion, I will discontinue the use of this brand!
    Very furious and disapointed parent.

My 2 year old daughter is experiencing the same thing as all these poor babies. I bought her the cruisers and like a week ago she started to experience a bad rash that comes and goes. She is getting potty trained and has not been wearing the cruisers at all but even that wont help the rash go away. I’m taking her to the doctor now. Pampers what are you doing to our babies?

  6. Noreen says:

My son is two and potty training during the day experienced the worst rash of his whole life and after my Grandma bought him the overnight protction Pampers. His boyhood looked like a dinasour. It is horrific. He can’t walk or sit. He had to go to the doctor and get a prescription. I am very unhappy and they still didn’t hold any better than the easy ups. You need to bite the bullet and recall the product immediatly.
